Congolese Christians Reach Out to Haiti

Immediately after the earthquake in Haiti was reported, the Alliance-supported Christian radio station, Radio Sangu ya Mbote, in Pointe-Noire, the Republic of the Congo, announced a prayer gathering for Christians to pray for Haiti. In conjunction with the station, Christian musicians in the city put on a concert, raising some $5,000, half of which was given by Congolese making about $2 a day.
