Churches across the UK are being encouraged to bring the nativity scene to life in their communities this Christmas by taking part in a new ecumenical initiative
Alliance staff members reported that demonstrations related to the upcoming elections took place in Guinea’s capital city, Conakry, September 28. At least 58 people died Monday when security forces opened fire to disperse a demonstration at a stadium in Conakry. Despite the unrest, our workers stayed close to home throughout the day and felt safe.
More than 1,000 young people attended a four-day youth conference last week in Pyramid, Indonesia, in Papua’s highlands. “Dozens made decisions to receive Jesus, dozens more brought fetishes to be burned, and still dozens more committed their life to serve Christ full-time,” says Alliance worker Barry Jordan, who ministered at the retreat.

A breakaway group from the C&MA national church in Indonesia burned down an Alliance church and two houses.
